West Wisconsin Land Trust is a private non-profit organization that works with landowners interested in permanently protecting their properties from future subdivision or development. Since 1988, West Wisconsin Land Trust has conserved over 20,000 acres of farms and natural areas throughout 18 counties of west central and northwestern Wisconsin.

West Wisconsin Land Trust is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Charities Review Council "Meets All Standards" Seal, indicating that WWLT meets all sixteen of its Accountability Standards. West Wisconsin Land Trust voluntarily participated in the Charities Review Council's online process in November 2007, as a demonstration of our commitment to accountability. The vigorous application and review process assesses a nonprofit organization's performance in four critical areas: Public Disclosure, Governance, Financial Activity and Fundraising. West Wisconsin Land Trust is now listed as a reviewed organization in the online Giving Guide of the Council's Smart Givers Network, www.smartgivers.org. The public can use this site to investigate an organization's mission and programs, so they can be sure of what their money supports and feel confident about giving wisely.

The "Meets All Standards" decision by the Charities Review Council reflects West Wisconsin Land Trust's commitment to integrity, transparency, and responsible resource management. Click on the "Meets All Standards" Seal to view our report.
