West Wisconsin Land Trust is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Charities Review Council "Meets All Standards" Seal, indicating that WWLT meets all sixteen of its Accountability Standards. West Wisconsin Land Trust voluntarily participated in the Charities Review Council's online process in November 2007, as a demonstration of our commitment to accountability. The vigorous application and review process assesses a nonprofit organization's performance in four critical areas: Public Disclosure, Governance, Financial Activity and Fundraising.
West Wisconsin Land Trust is now listed as a reviewed organization in the online Giving Guide of the Council's Smart Givers Network, www.smartgivers.org. The public can use this site to investigate an organization's mission and programs, so they can be sure of what their money supports and feel confident about giving wisely.
